Harry Potter And The Order Of The Phoenix Book Talk
As many of you know, I’ve been listening to the audiobooks on Libro.fm of the Harry Potter series since the start of this year and I have to say, as I’ve said before, I’m loving them! Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire has always been my favorite movie and it was my favorite book up until I finished The Order Of The Phoenix. That book was amazing!!! Of course the moment I finished it I went and watched the movie and while it was good the movies really don’t do the books justice. The movies cut soooo much out! and just jump from scene to scene with little to no information about what is happening. It could never connect to the movies like other people did (of course, those other people probably read the books though). Because I was confused by the movies as a kid, I didn't think the books would be much better. WRONG! This is why kids just don’t know what they are talking about!
I do think the audiobooks make the books, if that makes sense. Again, Jim Dale is every synonym for “amazing” in the book! I think I would have had a hard time concentrating on the books if I were actually reading them but listening to them is this whole amazing experience. It’s this wonderful mix of the movies and the books. I’m so glad that I decided to finally give these books a chance. They really are something else!
P.S. I used the audiobook cover for this post because I used the original cover for my spotlight. Plus, I really love the audiobook covers! They are so pretty!
