Book Of The Week

Book Of The Week

When I discovered Gena Showalter’s Lord of the Underworld s series I plowed through them. I could not get enough of the series. I don’t think I came up for air for a month… However, The Darkest Lie was my favorite. There was just something about Gideon and Scarlet that I fell in love with. I’ve reread this one more than any of the others and talk about it as much as possible.

Showalter saved me from catastrophic book withdrawal when I caught up to J.R. Ward’s Black Dagger Brotherhood series and Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark-Hunter series… guys, it would have been bad but luckily Lords of the Underworld were there to save the day!

Title: The Darkest Lie (Lords of the Underworld, #6)
Author: Gena Showalter
Pages: 442
Publication Date: July 2, 2010
Publisher: HQN
Genre: Paranormal Romance
Rating:★★★★★
Blurb:

Forced to his knees in agony whenever he speaks the truth, Gideon can recognize any lie - until he captures Scarlet, a demon-possessed immortal who claims to be his long-lost wife. He doesn't remember the beautiful female, much less wedding - or bedding - her.

-Happy Reading!
