THE DEEPEST LOVE CAN BE BORN FROM THE FIERCEST HATE…
Born to sit on opposing thrones.
They were never meant to fall.
Tanner Ayers is the heir of the Texas Ku Klux Klan. Fed nothing but hate, violence, and intolerance from the day he was born, Tanner kills for his cause without remorse.
Until he meets Adelita Quintana, the daughter of the most brutal cartel boss in Mexico.
Adelita and Tanner hate each other instantly. But there is something between them that neither can explain or deny. Hate turns to desire, desire turns to love, and for the first time Tanner sees how wrong his whole life has been.
For years, Tanner does everything he can to find a way for him and Adelita. He walks away from the Klan, his family, everything he ever believed, and joins the Hades Hangmen. But now the Hangmen are at war—not only with his own family, but with Adelita’s too.
When Adelita and Tanner are thrown together again, they are forced to fight for a love that should never have been. For a love that puts them and everyone they have ever loved in danger.
The White Prince.
The cartel princess.
And a future that seems shrouded in darkness…

***Warning!!! This is the 7th book in Tillie Cole’s dark romance series, Hades Hangmen. This series HAS to be read in order. You cannot just pick this book up and understand what’s going on. I’m not kidding. If you want to read this series read them in NUMERICAL ORDER! Was that clear enough? 1,2,3,4… This story deals with dark subject matter, hence ‘dark romance’- if you are easily triggered than this book and series are not for you. However, if you love dark romances this is the best series for you***
Move over Tristin & Isolde, Romeo & Juliet, Adelita & Tanner are taking over!
Tanner has been a fan favorite for years. I am one of those fans. I was so interested in how Tillie Cole was going to show us Tanner and Adelita’s story. I knew she wouldn’t disappoint and she didn’t! This book was all that I was expecting and more. The twists!!! Oh the TWISTS!!
What I have come to expect and love about Cole’s writing and in particular The Hades Hangmen series is the brotherhood, the family. They harass each other but they will drop everything when someone is in need. Cole is always able to bring old favorites into the new books seamlessly and effortless. It’s astonishing.
I hate to say it, but this wasn’t my favorite of the bunch. I had a harder time getting into than I usually do with Cole’s books. I think it was because the beginning was choppy- jumping from Tanner and Adelita from past to present but after I got past the 40% mark I was all in. I couldn’t put it down.
Adeltia and Tanner are just perfection. Their love is strong and so swoon-worthy. They love each other in spite of everyone and everything around them. And I was just head over heels for their love!
One thing that really caught my attention in this book was Tanner’s feelings of not being enough for the Hangmen. We got to see The Hangmen in a different light- through Tanner’s eyes- and it wasn’t the best light for the boys… As always, the men show a brotherhood and a family mentality and everything that comes with it; the good, the bad, the ugly, and the beauty.
In all, this was another great installment in the series. And as always, it has made me eager for the next book in the series, which will feature Viking. Man, oh man, I cannot wait to watch that heathen fall hard for someone! Also, I really need Lil’ Ash’s story- like soooo bad!
P.S. Did you see that cover? This series has some of the best covers I have ever seen!!!!!!!!
